Newsletter Journalist.

Run CoConnect's newsletter. Cover Philly's startup scene with real reporting. Interviews, longreads, the founders worth watching. You're also our public face for anyone who wants to bring their work onto CoConnect.

  • Write the CoConnect newsletter. At least one issue per week, ongoing.
  • Interview Philly builders, collaborators, and investors. Surface stories nobody else is telling.
  • Own the editorial calendar. Pitch us; we don't hand you a content plan.
  • Be the inbound contact for the Philly startup community. When someone wants to bring their work onto CoConnect, the email lands with you.
  • Build the editorial standard. What a CoConnect piece reads like, what it doesn't.
  • You've published. A newsletter, a substack, a column, a blog with real readers. Clarity over flourish.
  • A real point of view. We're not a wire service; we're building a perspective on what Philly startup culture should look like.
  • Comfortable cold-emailing strangers. Half this job is outreach; the other half is writing.
  • Lives in or near Philadelphia. The community work is in person.

Stipend while you're with us. Editorial independence. You write what you find worth writing about, not what we tell you. Bylines that travel; readers know who's behind the work. Strong shot at converting and owning the publication as CoConnect grows.
